Having a whale of time in Christchurch!

Whee I am having so much fun over here. Hee Huaiwen u are so right.. I will not regret going for SEP at all! Hee but then the fact that I am having so much fun is all thanks to my wonderful classmate, Carolyn(Carol)..She has been jioing me to go this and that ..hee helping me really settle in here.. hee..just to update u guys on the past weekend..

Yesterday(Sat), Carolyn jio me to go this bowling activity by the University of Canterbury Singapore Students Society(UCSSS). Oh on a side note, Carolyn is Malaysian but she is also a member in the UCSSS. Apparently the Singaporeans and Malaysians are members of both the Singaporean and Malaysian club. Haha and this bowling was the time when I set a new record for myself.. still cant believe it haha shul have taken a pict of the computer screen with my score haha.. but of course it was not really correct cos they were playing in the way that if u got 8 out of 10 pins down it is already considered a strike.. Haha but who cares I got 107!! Yipee!

At bowling I met a couple of gals. There was Joesphine(Jo)..Carol tells me she is Singapore’s YEO’s brand owner’s granddaughter. Hee she is very fun to be with. There is Marina, don’t really remember where is she from but she is supposed to be a dance goddess from what Charlene says of her. Marina was recommending me to a club that plays salsa music on certain days and u can actually go there and the customers there will teach u if u don’t know how to dance. Talk about a friendly environment. It sounds super cool. I so want to go there soon. Haha have been bugging Carol and Heather to go clubbing soon. I think it is great that I am able to meet pple who are into dancing and not so much abt drinking. Hee just like me! Haha oh I have not mentioned Heather yet. She is another classmate and is Carol’s good friend too. Heather is so cute cos of her dreamy character. Hee she reminds me of Margaret mainly cos of her complexion and also cos she lives with 2 brothers too. Then there is Charlene, also a Singaporean and she is real bubbly and very good with kids. Did I mention that she I think she is pretty hee is the sporty fun pretty which I like.

Oh after bowling, we went to the supermarket (COUNTDOWN) to get some stuff before heading to the party down at Heather’s hse. It was a victory party (something like out inter hall victory supper but this was for the inter uni Malaysians) and a surprise bdae party for Mark. Hee I bought beer but then we had a problem with the cashier cos I had no ID and alth Carol had ID on her they wouldn’t let us buy it. And when carol went into the supermarket another time alone to buy it. Apparently the cashier had informed other cashiers abt us and was pretty rude to carol saying something like she was busted earlier on.. which was really silly I think. Poor carol.. Anyway we had to drive down to another supermarket and picked up the beer before heading to the party.

Initially things were pretty awkward cos they were doing their victory party and I was so off but then when the bdae party started things got pretty cool hee.. Met more pple like Peiling, Rachel.. And I got to see why the gals liked to hug Mark so much cos he was like a big teddy bear.:)I drank like 3 cups of mixed alcoholic drinks and got a little bit tipsy.. I was still sober but cul feel a little bit dizzy in my head. Hee the first time I actually experienced it but it was cool.. hee glad I din turn red. Oh and the highlight of the day was when they filled this long thing with 8 cans of beer and got Mark to drink it all up in 4++min. He was really good but then later when the effects of the drink got to him…the puking was terrible..

Hee that’s all for my first exciting weekend in Christchurch. Cant wait to make more new friends and have many new experiences!
