Kaikoura
My very first stop. The place to catch whales in action. But sadly i didntmanage to do it. Anyway on the bright side i saw seals lazing around on therocks near Point kean. It was all natural! Not a zoo or anything like that.Just seals which had swam up onto the shore. Really awesome and i went up asclose as i dared. hee and realised that seals snort loudly! Next we went tothe Animal Farm hee not the Animal Farm by George Owells though. Anyway thiswas where i realised how scary chickens can be when u have food with u. Itotally disliked them. Stealing from the poor innoncent rabbits and guineapigs. This was where i met my fren lambie! Hee he/she is my friend cos he/shewould only interact with me and not William or Petrina. Hee which is kind offlattering. And lambie is sooo cute. Initially it would not interact with usand would run away. Then we started playing with the dog soccer and lambiewanted to play too. it would go to the ball and butt the ball gently with itshead. Hee then it started to eat the food from me and it even stood up on itshind legs. Awesome.
Finally in the evening, i wanted to go to the beach andpoor William had to drive me there. It was freezing but i got a nice shot fthe mountains. It looked as if it was on fire.We stayed at Dusky Lodge.Not abad place. The place where i learnt that canned peaches with cereal and milkwas yummy!
